Your skin needs two things to be beautiful:
1. Water, and…
2. Good nutrition
But there’s a problem. As you age, your skin loses the ability to hold water and take in nutrients. That leads to dry, sagging skin.

I was running some errands in the mall this summer and saw a woman who looked fairly young walking toward me. Her face was soft and smooth. Her skin fairly glowed.
But as she got closer, I glanced down.

I’ve met so many naturally beautiful people in my travels. From the Andes Mountains of Peru to Africa and India, people have discovered that Nature provides so many ways to help maintain smooth, young-looking skin.
For example, you’ll find women in South Africa with absolutely gorgeous skin… thanks to a mountain shrub called red tea. Or in the Andes, where women who are exposed to intense sun have remarkably smooth and supple skin. These women use a secret they learned from vineyard workers.
I’ve brought many of these discoveries back with me to my practice. I’ve never been disappointed. And neither have the many patients who’ve benefitted from these discoveries.

In recent months there’s been a lot of buzz about some of the trendy new cosmetic products on the market. It seems like every female who comes into the office for a skin treatment asks me about one of them or another… lip plumpers, eyelash lengtheners, Botox replacements… the list goes on.
The ads for these products sound great. After all, who wouldn’t want Angelina Jolie-worthy lips in a matter of minutes?
The problem is many of these claims are overstated. So let’s take a look at some of them.
