Today I want to talk to you about something that can benefit every part of your body from your heart to your brain – and even your sex hormones.

Most doctors won’t tell you about it. But when this system is working right, you’ll…

Are Your Bones Under Attack?

“How are my bones?”

This is one of the most common questions I get asked here at Dr. Sears’ wellness clinic, especially from women. With the way things are in the modern world, I don’t blame them for being concerned.

Your bones are under constant assault from toxins. Air pollution, cosmetics and even tap water can have any number of poisons in them, especially metals like lead, cadmium and aluminum which are very toxic for your bones.

I’d heard that in this faraway island paradise, there’s no word for “diet.”

But I was still surprised to see what my new friends in Bali, Lelir and Westi, had made us for dinner. I expected them to eat like birds, but every single dish on the table was rich, creamy or sweet.

My first bite of bubuh injun had me wondering how in the world the Balinese stay so slim.

It’s so great to see supermodels these days who are healthy-looking and not stick-thin.

Sure, some models starve themselves to stay thin, but what about the rest of them? I wanted to know their secrets.

So I started doing a little research and stumbled upon some of the best-kept secrets in the modeling industry. And they all had one thing in common… boosting your metabolism.

The Body You Were Meant To Have

I’m amazed when I watch pro athletes at the top of their games. They have incredible speed and power. And if you’re a reader you know I’m a tennis fan. I play tennis every morning. So I can’t wait to catch some of the Australian Open tennis tournament coming up in a couple of weeks.

It’s pretty impressive to watch how strong and fast these men and women are. They hit the ball so hard, and can twist their bodies and do incredible things with a tennis racquet in their hands.

Their bodies seem to be built for it, don’t they?

But I’m going to show you that you can have that same kind of lean, muscular body.

You may see this and think, “That’s common sense.” Yes it is and if you actually DO it you’ll feel and look better.

New Year, New Youth

With just a few more weeks left in 2011, many people begin to think about their New Year’s Resolutions.

Biting off more than you can chew with a long list of resolutions is not only counterproductive, but can also leave you stressed. Not to mention guilt-ridden if you’re unable to stick with all of them. There’s even an unofficial “Break Your Resolutions Day” on January 17th of each year. And I’m pretty sure you don’t want to celebrate that.

Barbie doll, born Barbara Millicent Roberts, and I are the same age — we’re both over 50 — and we both look better than ever. In fact, I’d even say we’re Aging Backwards.

She’s been a pediatrician, firefighter, astronaut, racecar driver, rock star, veterinarian, ambassador for world peace and even United States President. That’s quite an impressive resume and only a few of the illustrious careers that Barbie doll, the brainchild of Ruth Handler whose husband Elliot co-founded the Mattel toy company, has held.

How can you stay as young and vibrant as Barbie?

Is Exercise the Fountain of Youth?

Exercise is quite possibly one of the most disliked aspects of anti-aging and beauty. I know scores of people who view exercise as the enemy. But it doesn’t have to be! I personally love to work out. In fact, I consider exercise to be my “fountain of youth.”

In addition to keeping the body lean and lowering stress levels, exercise benefits the heart and lungs, increases strength and muscle tone, and helps you get rid of toxins.

Feeling stressed? Your skin may be feeling it, too. In fact, stress is one of the most common factors that cause your skin and body to age.

Chronic stress has been proven to affect your health negatively.1 It can also accelerate the aging of your cells because your telomeres shorten at the end of chromosomes in your DNA.

Telomeres are found on each DNA strand in your skin cells. These telomeres get shorter every time a cell divides. If you have shorter telomeres, that means you have older skin cells. This is usually when you’ll start seeing fine lines and wrinkles.
