Do you worry about your hair?

My best advice is to stay away from chemical-laden pills, potions and hair-growth treatments.

If you want your hair to be thick, strong and shiny, here’s what you need to know…

First, you need biotin. Research shows that biotin promotes hair growth, strength and manageability by increasing elasticity and thickening the cuticle.1

Biotin, especially when combined with niacinamide, helps to prevent cholesterol from collecting on the scalp – which can trigger the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This naturally produced metabolite can weaken your hair follicles. Articum majus root also helps to block DHT.

At my clinic, I have a solution I’ve used with my patients. I’ve seen their hair look silkier and more lush and full than ever before.

It’s called Infuse, and it’s packed with biotin, niacinamide, articum majus root, plus the following ingredients:

Fenugreek – Traditional Chinese medicine has used Fenugreek for more than 2,000 years. Fenugreek can stimulate your blood circulation and promote the appearance of a full head of thick hair.

Panax Ginseng Root – This increases scalp stimulation, enhancing hair depth and thickness.

Arginine, acetyl tyrosine, citrulline and ornithine HCL – These amino acids are the building blocks of hair structure.

Zinc Gluconate – This nutrient teams with the B vitamins in Infuse to block DHT.

Studies on Infuse show it results in thicker, stronger, silkier, shinier hair. It also helps to diminish scalp irritation.

One of my patients told me, “Before Infuse, I just couldn’t get over my thinning hair. It seemed that my hair was going down the drain every morning in the shower. Now my hair has more body than ever, and it’s no longer going down the drain.”*

My patient S.W. wanted me to look at her cholesterol results.

Her doctor told her they were concerning.

But I ended up finding something that was much more concerning to me, and to her.

In examining her, I parted her hair to look at her scalp. I saw a problem I see much more often than I used to. She had very thin, sparse hair with a bald scalp that would remind you of an elder male.

She was embarrassed to admit it, but she had been using hair spray and products that are designed to disguise balding in men – like that paint stuff – for years. And she never thought there was anything she could do about it, so she never mentioned it to me.

I used to see this kind of thing rarely, but now I’m seeing it all the time. In the last fifteen years I’ve been practicing, this problem has at least quadrupled.

Fortunately, you can stop this from happening to you.

Today, I’m going to show you how to do two simple things so you can keep a full head of thick shiny hair.

First, let me explain a little about why this is happening…

It starts with a modern epidemic that’s going on – an epidemic of too much estrogen. You’re getting it in your food, and from chemicals in the environment which act like estrogen when they get into your body.

What this does is cause a “feedback inhibition” in your hormone system. It causes you to produce less follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). They normally stimulate the ovaries to produce both estrogen and progesterone.

Your estrogen is going to be fine, but that decreased production of FSH and LH cause a decrease in progesterone. It has no dietary source, so it then becomes very low.

Here’s where the problems for your hair begin.

Progesterone’s normal role is to give you your sexual features like an hourglass figure, but it also binds to the same receptors as testosterone. It normally blocks the effect of testosterone so it won’t cause masculinization.

When you don’t have progesterone, the testosterone can take its place. So what we have today is a whole generation of women who are getting unwanted facial hair, and they’re getting hair loss in a male pattern from the effect of testosterone, which turns into the hair-blocking hormone DHT.

Normally a woman doesn’t have much DHT because it’s blocked by the progesterone. But with all the estrogen women are getting, progesterone plummets and you have hair loss.

The solution is to stimulate your scalp for healthy blood flow, and block the bad guy that may keep your hair from growing.

The bad guy is DHT (dihydrotestosterone). As DHT forms in your body when you have too much estrogen, it collects in the sebum gland in the scalp and starts to attack your hair follicles. Your strands can shrink and eventually fall out.

So stopping DHT is one effective way to help your hair. But it’s only the first part of hair health. There are also a few other little-known but direct and dynamic ways to get shiny hair that has luster and thickness. You can use them to:

Stimulate your scalp – There’s an herb not many people know about that can stimulate blood flow especially to the small capillaries like the ones that feed the hair root. It’s called fenugreek, and it’s also one of the best herbs to use if you have toxins or other scalp buildup.

Enhance thickness – You might think of ginseng as just a feel-good herb, and it is. But when you use it in your hair, it also increases scalp stimulation in a way that gives you healthy hair depth and keeps each strand thick and strong.1

Keep a full mane – To help stop the hair-blocking hormone DHT, you can use arctium majus root. It helps condition your skin while it keeps DHT from attacking your hair.

Rescue your hair – Amino acids are the building blocks of hair structure, so it’s essential to feed your hair with the ones that help the most. Like acetyl tyrosine, citrulline, and ornithine HCL. They promote healing and repair in your scalp, and help bring out your fullest, healthiest hair.

Deliver the nutrients – B-vitamins are essential to grow healthy hair and nails, but it’s not easy to get enough from food. Two in particular, biotin and niacinimide, get used up growing and building healthy hair, so it’s important to replace them each day.

Improve hair growth – B-vitamins perform a dual function for your hair if you use zinc gluconate… they team up to give hair follicles and your scalp with energy and strengthening. Without enough zinc, your hair shafts get weakened, causing hair breakage and very slow re-growth. They work together to decelerate hair loss and improve hair growth.

Promote that shine – I don’t recommend eating soy, but it turns out to have great benefit for your hair. Hydrolyzed soy protein can give you shinier, thicker hair that stays moisturized.

Unfortunately, pattern hair loss is very severe in the women I see. To where if I part the hair, I see bare scalp.

Then they tend to use a lot of cosmetic things to try to hide it…

That can make the problem worse. That’s why I created a formula for the patients in my clinic who come to me asking if they can do something about thinning hair.

And I’ve had a lot of success with it. Many of my patients are so thrilled they write to me and tell me that their hair looks twice as thick. That they’ve stopped seeing hair in the shower drain, and that their hair is as shiny as a teenager’s.

S.W. told me she hasn’t had to cover up her hair with a hat in over a year.

I’m so happy for all of them. Because I know having a full head of thick shiny hair is every woman’s dream. And I know it makes you feel young and desirable, too.

That’s why I’ve decided to offer this formula to you. I call it Infuse.

Just two convenient spray applications each day and Infuse gets deep into your scalp, down where the roots are. Infuse replenishes those roots and stimulates normal hair growth.

While hair loss may not be life threatening, it doesn’t mean it’s not important – especially when it comes to women.

Hair loss is common subject among men, but you may be surprised to know that more and more women are looking for solutions to thinning hair, too.

As a woman, I know that your hair is your “crowning glory.” When it’s full and silky, you just feel younger and more beautiful.

But when you start seeing more and more hair going down the drain every morning when you take a shower, it can take a real toll on your esteem and your confidence.

The good news is, there are some natural remedies you can try to help combat thinning hair and help your hair look thicker and more luscious than ever before. The secret lies in blocking the deteriorating effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the naturally produced metabolite that causes hair loss.

Some vitamins and nutrients that can help “feed your follicles” and decrease the potent DHT are:

Fenugreek – Chinese traditional medicine has used Fenugreek for more than 2000 years. Fenugreek can stimulate your blood circulation and promote the appearance of a full, luscious head of hair.

Panax Ginseng Root – Increases scalp stimulation, enhancing hair depth and thickness

Articum Majus Root and Saw Palmetto – Help block DHT, one of the main causes for hair thinning

Arginine, Acetyl Tyrosine, Citrulline, and Ornithine HCL – These amino acids are the building block of hair structure

Biotin, Niacinimide – B-vitamins that help block the conversion of testosterone to DHT and regulate cellular nutrition

Zinc Gluconate – Teams with the B-vitamins to block DHT

Panthenol and Hydrolized Soy Protein – Proteins to shine, thicken and moisturize hair

These nutrients can help reinvigorate your scalp and restore it to good health. But these solutions may not work for everyone. There could be other underlying reasons for your hair loss. But give it a try and see if it works for you.

Dear Beauty Conscious Reader,

I’ve been a hair stylist for over 20 years, and I’ve seen it all when it comes to thinning hair. Lots of guys and girls who come to my salon have this problem. Especially as they get older. And believe me, it can be devastating.

They come to me full of frustration. They’ve tried everything – from hair extensions to all kinds of gooey hair products that only fake the funk.

Thinning hair and balding are much more common than you might think. You may be guilty of trying some of these trendy solutions yourself.

But after all that pulling and tugging, it can leave you with a very unhealthy scalp and hair. And even more frustrated than you were before by all your efforts to make your hair look full and sexy.

Let’s face it, gals, isn’t that all we really want? Sexy, lustrous locks!

With more and more of my older female clients looking as bald as their husbands, I decided to do my own research. There just had to be a solution.

So I decided to ask Dr. Sears about it…

Turns out, in most cases, there’s a hormone culprit at the root of the problem. An imbalance of this hormone is usually the case with the guys, but can also happen to women. It gets even worse as we age, and that’s exactly what I was seeing in my salon!

But to explain why that’s happening to us women, I have to get a little more technical…

Now, are you ready for this? The hormone has a big, fancy name, “dihydrotestosterone.” But don’t let that bother you too much. We’ll just call it “DHT” for short.

The point is, if women with the pattern of a receding hair line and hair thinning over the crown were to get tested, the results would most likely show a high level of DHT in their blood.

Ready for the good news? Dr. Sears has a solution. It’s called Infuse…

Infuse is a spray-on strengthening and thickening formula that blocks the deteriorating effects of DHT. It also helps to replenish your scalp and hair by redistributing vitamins and minerals that are necessary for the growth of vibrant hair. It literally feeds new life into your hair follicles, revives your scalp, and brings your hair back to life.

Studies on Infuse show that it:

Reduces the appearance of hair loss

Gives you thicker, stronger, silkier, shinier hair

Helps diminish scalp irritation

So there is hope for us all!

I’ve been using this product myself, especially on my hairline, which has been abused by chemicals and hair weaves over the years. I can’t tell you the difference it has made to my life. My salon clients refuse to go without it.

I’m sure it will work for you as well.

Here’s how you can try it yourself…

Keep on Stylin’!

Most men and women watch their hair slowly thin with age. It is one of the most apparent signals of your age to people you meet. But you may be in the first generation of men that can actually do something about it.

We do not lose our hair because of wear and tear from the environment. New scientific discoveries have led to a very important revelation about why hair thins with age. Your hair falls out on command – commands from hormones. The secret to keeping a naturally thick, lustrous, full head of hair is to change that hormonal command.

We have known for some time that male hormones were involved. They provide a genetically programmed signal for hair thinning to begin and they control how it progresses as you age. Convention made a big mistake, however, in blaming testosterone. As it turns out high testosterone levels throughout life can protect you from hair loss.

The real culprit has turned out to be a different male hormone called dihydrotestosterone or DHT. This hormone also exists in women where it also causes hair loss. In fact, most women I’ve treated with the pattern of receding hair lines and hair thinning over the crown have high DHT levels in their blood.

I have seen high blood levels of DHT induce hair loss in young athletes who abuse anabolic steroids. In some cases, there was not a genetic predisposition to baldness. When we employ strategies to lower DHT, their hair loss stops.

You can use these same strategies to lower your DHT. They have been recently proven to reduce hair loss, preserve your current head of hair or even induce new hair growth.

You may have seen ads for the prescription drug Propecia. It has been a significant balding treatment breakthrough. Propecia has been associated with a number of side effects though. It’s also very expensive, is not covered by most health insurances and has not been approved for women. There are safer, less expensive natural alternatives that can do the same thing. In fact, they can work by exactly the same mechanism.

Propecia works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to DHT. This is the perfect point of attack. It has the effect of both decreasing DHT and increasing testosterone. Propecia inhibits the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase necessary for this conversion. A number of plant-based nutrients also inhibit this enzyme.

Testosterone: Notice the 4,5 double-bond on the A (leftmost) ring.

Testosterone Changes to DHT: Notice the double bond is missing…

The most powerful nutrient to block the conversion of testosterone to DHT is beta-sitosterol. Beta-sitosterol has been proven to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase from converting testosterone into DHT.

A study published by the Journal of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine examined beta-sitosterol’s effectiveness in blocking the production of DHT. The study analyzed men between the ages of 23 and 64 with hair loss.

The participants either received beta-sitosterol or a placebo. The researchers found that 60% of the men receiving beta-sitosterol had an improvement in hair growth. They also lost less hair than the placebo group.1 A softgel containing B-sitosterol 50mg and saw palmetto 200mg extract versus placebo in treating hair loss was used.

You can also find beta-sitosterol in a few herbs at health food stores: saw palmetto, pygeum bark extract and in pumpkin seeds.

Another important nutrient is gamma linolenic acid (GLA). It is an essential fatty acid found in natural plant oils. It is difficult to obtain healthy amounts through diet alone.

Gamma linolenic acid is a proven 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. The Journal of Investigative Dermatology published one well-known study, researchers tested GLA’s efficacy on hamsters. GLA successfully inhibited the 5-alpha-reductase converting testosterone into DHT.2

Like most health issues, good nutrition serves as the foundation. Stress, drugs of abuse, bad health habits and prescription drugs aggravate the problem and can accelerate the loss of hair.

6 Tips For Keeping Your Hair Youthful

Eat a healthy, high protein diet

Avoid too much stress

Do not use illegal drugs

Avoid prescription drugs

Limit hat wearing

Take a multivitamin

New technologies are rapidly emerging that will change the way older men look. better hair grafts to hormonal manipulation to new prescription drugs, the options have changed useless, vain and troublesome snake oils to a powerful armamentarium that can have a real effect.

Growing real hair takes time. There are no immediate solutions for a return of natural hair growth. But, if you have patience, you can expect to make a difference by sticking to a well thought out strategy.
