Every woman has a morning routine. Over the years, our regimens have become so automatic we might never stop to consider what products we’re using and what we’re actually doing to our bodies.
But what if you found out that the products you’ve been using for years to look beautiful are actually slowly making you sick?
Well, if you’re using standard products you find on the shelves of your local drug store or even from the dermatologist, there’s a good chance they’re affecting your health. I found out from my research that many of them contain toxic chemicals that contaminate your body every time you use them.

Women sometimes come into my salon complaining of “really bad dandruff.” They’ve tried all the usual scalp treatments, but nothing seems to work.
What they don’t realize is that unattractive flaky stuff that falls on your shoulders isn’t always dandruff. Sometimes it’s really psoriasis – and regular dandruff treatments just aren’t going to help.
Over seven million people suffer from this skin condition, so it’s not an uncommon problem. No one’s exactly sure what causes psoriasis. But many things can trigger a flare-up.

Last year I had the opportunity to visit Brazil. After 14 hours on a plane and what seemed like an entire night on a bus, I arrived in a small town called Petrolina.
At first, I didn’t think the town had much to offer. This place was supposed to be home to some of the world’s most beautiful women … but it certainly didn’t look it.
After such a grueling journey, I decided I would check out the local spa. To my chagrin, all I saw was a rinky-dink, broken down building on the corner that looked nothing like I had imagined. But I was tired from traveling and needed a little pick-me-up, so I decided to check it out.

Have you seen the commercial for Britney Spears’ new perfume?
It’s fun, colorful, a little sexy … there’s even a fortune teller in it! But I just read a report that suggests there’s something Britney’s and most other celebrity perfumes contain.
Everyone wants to smell like someone famous … but some of these signature scents contain way more than just a flowery, musky or citrusy smell … things I didn’t expect.

Do you remember what your mother went through with menopause? Well, fortunately for you, there are plenty of safe, natural ways to avoid the symptoms she probably experienced. My mama started going through it when she was 45 years young. It’s been 10 years and she still sweats bullets. The only time the symptoms give her a break is when she takes her supplements.

Your nails can be a reflection of your general health. The healthier you are the better your nails will be. Most of us think we’re getting enough nutrition from the food we eat … right? From Japan to Brazil, and all around the world… the latest craze is to have silky, straight hair.
TV commercials, billboards, and magazines are full of flashy advertising for revolutionary products that promise to “improve the quality of your hair inside out.”
It all sounds wonderful, but at what expense? Has anyone ever stopped to figure out if it’s really worth it? Plus, what’s wrong with having curly hair anyway?
